About your instructors:

Samantha Simpson is a Partner at Brownlee Whitlow & Praet. Samantha’s practice focuses on real estate litigation, including the representation of residential and commercial property owners and managers throughout the Carolina’s.

Samantha was raised in Eagle River, Alaska, and attended college at the University of Alaska Anchorage before attending Charlotte School of Law. Samantha began her legal career as an associate attorney at a civil litigation firm in Charlotte, NC in 2017, where she managed an active caseload and focused her practice on real estate litigation, rezoning disputes, and other land use issues.

Samanth joined Brownlee Whitlow & Praet, PLLC, in August of 2018 as an associate attorney in the Charlotte office and is now serving as the North Carolina Rental Housing State Head overseeing all North Carolina managing attorneys at BWP. Samantha lives in Charlotte with her husband and two fur babies. Outside of work, Samantha enjoys cooking, camping, and traveling.

A member of the Loebsack & Brownlee team since the very beginning, Jared started as an associate attorney in 2013 and now serves as Supervising Partner of the firm. Before joining Loebsack & Brownlee, Jared practiced law in his home state of Ohio. Jared enjoys having the opportunity to travel the state to handle hearings and various client and apartment association events and regularly instructs on a wide variety of industry topics such as Fair Debt Collection, Fair Housing, CAPS and CAM legal modules and Domestic Violence. He is a diehard (and long-suffering) Cincinnati sports fan and along with his wife Kris he spends most of his free time entertaining the many and varied demands of his daughters.
